More Wing Foiling With The Stoke Foil Boost
Wing foiling is growing fast. Kiters love it because you can ride in lighter conditions, in cross or even off shore winds. Windsurfers love it for the simplicity of the gear and the fun you can have in the waves. And surfers love it because if their favourite break is blown out they can still have a blast on the water. And loads of wingers are simply new to water sports.
But it’s only fun if you get foiling. Once you’re up on the foil you have all the upwind performance you need and all the freedom of flying.
That’s where the Stoke Foil Boost comes in – it gets you up foiling more.
Foil more with the Stoke Foil Boost
The Stoke Foil Boost gives you that bit of propulsion which gets you up on your foil if the conditions are light. It accelerates your learning curve if you’re a beginner and means you can get in more sessions if you’re an expert. And it gives you a bit of confidence getting off the beach if the wind is onshore and back if the wind is offshore.
The Stoke Foil Boost puts you in charge of the conditions. Foiling is addictive. The Stoke Foil Boost feeds your addiction..
Stoke Foil Boost easily attaches to any foil mast, just below the board. It’s incredibly easy to install and there’s only a tiny bluetooth receiver on top of your board – which you’ll never even know is there.
The position of the product is clever. It’s in the water when you need assistance to get up and foiling and out of the water when you don’t. Therefore it doesn’t change the dynamics of the ride or create increased drag.
Another smart feature of the Stoke Foil Boost is the 188mm diameter propeller that delivers the propulsion. It provides maximum torque and performance boost while in the water and automatically folds away when the boost is not engaged out of the water, to minimise aerodynamic drag.
The Stoke Foil Boost is controlled by a carefully sculpted wireless controller that securely attaches to the handle of the wing.
Yes, the Stoke Foil Boost has a universal mast mount that is designed to attach to all current foil masts.
In a word, very. It takes less than a minute to fit the foil boost to the mast of your foil. It’s then connected to the receiver, which can be positioned on any part of the surface of your board using 3M Dual Lock. If necessary, adjusting the receiver cable length and attaching the cable guides will only take another minute or two. The cable system is neat and tidy, removing any drag.
For most foil set-ups, you’ll have enough battery capacity for over 50 launches of your wing foil. You can purchase an additional battery, which is very quick to change, if you’d like to wing foil even more.
Less than 2 hours for a full charge.
