Parawinging. The Ultimate cheat code with the stoke foil boost
Parawinging is the fastest-growing discipline in foiling — and it’s easy to understand why. A small foil kite on ultra-short lines. Pack it away mid-ride. Free-surf ocean bumps completely hands-free. No paddle. No wing in the way. Just you, your board, and the ocean.
But there’s a catch — getting on foil is brutally hard. Parawings don’t produce enough low-end power to pull you up. You need to pump. And that takes tens of hours of dedicated practice.
The Stoke Foil Boost changes everything. Squeeze the trigger, get on foil, and start riding — from your very first session.

What is parawinging?
Think of parawinging as a cross between kiteboarding and wing foiling. A soft foil canopy — not a rigid structure like a wing — on super short lines. It’s a brand new discipline that’s emerged over the last two years, and it’s taking spots around the world by storm.
What makes it different from anything else in foiling:
- Pack it away mid-ride. Because the lines are so short and the canopy is small, you can stow the entire kite while you’re riding — then free-surf ocean bumps completely hands-free.
- Cut laps without car shuttles. Ride upwind on the parawing, pack it away, surf the bumps downwind, and repeat. Multiple laps in a single session. No mates required.
- Smaller gear, more agility. Instead of a 7’6″–8′ SUP board, ride a 5′ board with lower volume and a smaller foil.
- Everything becomes more agile. Turns are more aggressive. The whole setup is more fun and responsive.
The feeling is unlike anything else in the sport. Downwinding on ocean bumps with nothing in your hands — no paddle, no wing — is pure magic.

Is it quick and easy to attach?
It’s surprisingly quick. It only takes a minute to fit the foil boost to the mast of your foil. We have two receiver options at the moment. Under-board option which works with majority of the board or an onboard one for boards with carbon foil tracks…. Cable length is adjustable on both options so you can place the unit anywhere on the mast. Both receivers take less than minute to be installed.
