Our versatile mast mount fits 99% of mast on the market, aluminium or carbon. Using soft, interchangeable rubber side pads, it clamps securely without damaging your mast’s fragile trailing edge. Your questions, answered
Can I use the Stoke Foil Boost as a full eFoil?
The Stoke Foil Boost is designed as an assist product. Its strength lies in helping you get up on foil using a wave, bump, or wing. For a true hybrid eFoil experience with continuous power and more thrust, we recommend the Stoke Foil Boost Ultra.
What happens if the propeller comes out of the water?
You are in complete control. The motor does not automatically cut out when it breaches the surface. Power is only disengaged when you release the trigger on the remote.
Will the regular boost be enough for me if I’m a heaver rider?
For riders over 220lbs (100kg), the regular Boost will still make things easier but may not have enough power to get you on foil without your own assistance (paddling or pumping). For a more effortless experience, we recommend the Stoke Foil Boost Ultra, which has significantly more thrust (68lbs).
Which battery is right for me? Can I use them on the Ultra?
If you travel frequently, the airline-compliant Travel Battery is essential, but it is only available for the Stoke Foil Boost. For everyday use and the lightest setup, choose the Sport Battery. For the longest possible sessions, the XR Battery is the ultimate choice. Please note: Boost and Ultra batteries are built on different voltage systems and are not interchangeable.
Will it work with my carbon board?
Yes. However, boards with carbon foil tracks can block the Bluetooth signal. For these specific constructions, you must select the on-board receiver option when purchasing your Stoke Foil Boost to ensure a perfect, reliable connection.
Is the transition from powered to unpowered riding difficult?
Not at all. The transition is seamless. When winging, the apparent wind you create with the motor gives you something to hold on to, making the switch to unpowered gliding feel completely natural.
